Graham purchased his first camera at the age of 19 when he purchased a Practicia Camera which he still has. This is a film camera but now he doesn’t use it. Following the use of various difference point and shot cameras in film and digital he went down the canon DSLR path in 2014 when he took up photography more seriously and a three years later upgraded to a Canon 70D and started to visit Alaska which has always been a dream. He has been there 5 times now and done 2 cruise tours in 2014 and again in 2015. He did two independent trips in 2018. One in March to photograph the Northern lights the Aurora Borealis. Then on a private tour with Wild Departures to photograph the Bald Eagle in the Chilkat Bald Eagle preserve. Here, he got some very good photos of the Eagles as well as scenic shots and then later did a tour up to the Arctic Circle from Fairbanks Alaska. He then went back to Alaska again in August 2019 to visit places he wanted to add to his guided tours as well as taking more photos for his collection.
At the start of 2019 following the purchase of a Canon wide format printer he started to make canvas photo prints which are now being offered for sale. He is also offering to do contract photo prints for people wanting their own prints done as canvas photos. This includes printing and then making the frames and stretching the canvas over the frame and then packaging them and posting them to the clients. in December 2019 he also purchased a printer for doing hi-definition sublimation prints to metal, china, and placemats and coasters.
He is currently offering not only to take photos for people but to also do guided photographic tours for sunset photos and night sky photography. He is also doing guided photography tours up to Alaska over winter for filming the Aurora, the ice roads and the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle and also visiting some of Alaska less know places like the Chena Hot Springs. Also if requested summer tours to this fantastic land to visit the Denali National Park and preserve and other fantastic places in Alaska now the largest state in the USA.
